Electricity Connection Cost

Is there anyone out there who has experienced getting electricity connected and the general idea of the cost involved?
I know it depends on distance/transformers etc, but any info would be of assistance.

Same goes for water really, but I would presume that the electricity is higher outlay?

Re: Electricity Connection Cost

There are many variables; basically, a licensed electrician has to certify your wiring [if it wasn't done before].
Then EDP will give you a quotation for connection cost based on what they have to do, and tell you how long it will take them to get around to doing the work.
Typically a few thousand and a few months.
