Hi

We are looking for a standard size fridge/freezer, washing machine and dish washer preferably in a silver colour, either new or second hand but in very good condition.

We are based in Alvor, and would like to try and get these goods when we are down for a few days towards the end of the month. Would prefer delivery.

There is the Portimao shopping where you will find a Radio Popular who sell all the goods you require. They all deliver. Wortens is also good for "white goods".

Aint there a Euronics(not sure if thats spelt correct) shop down in your area? We bought all the stuff for our kitchen recently and euronics were giving us 30% discount, Worten were giving us more or less no discount on the retail price and their choice was not great. In the end we squeezed a bit more out of a family run shop and got them there.(about 33%)

Always ask for discount here in Portugal no matter what you are buying, my Portuguese wife used to embarrass me at first .....but she always gets it (electrical goods,toys,clothes etc etc)

Thanks for that. Euronics sounds good, will try and locate it. Will certainly be asking for a dicount, not shy in that department although not sure whether the portuguese will stretch that far.

How long do these places usually take to deliver ?

so true, we saw a euronics in Ponte do sor too... lots of good at very good prices ...
