Default DVD Players online

I want to buy my ma a new one as a gift but can't for the life of me find the online stores that will deliver. I don't want to ask my family over there as they can't keep their mouths shut to save their lives, and will let the cat out of the bag.

Help please (preferably nationwide places as she's in Lisboa)

Help! I tried Staples.pt but I can't pay with my US credit card. Worton is useless. Anyone have any clue as to another site or two?

Can you buy from anywhere in the EU?

I take it sending it as a gift from the US would cost duty? Cos most of them can be easily hacked to remove the region nonsense.

Not worth sending one over from here. I have tried amazon uk - but of course, would prefer one in country. Pain is that the shipping within Portugal costs about the same as shipping it down from the UK! Maybe I should try one from Spain.

I want to surprise her for her b/day - want to get one for her second tv as I know she doesn't have one in there. I could ask my brother to buy her one, but I know he'd let the cat out - he doesn't do surprises very well

Any online sites in espana I might take a gaze at? Thanks

How about starting here?

http://www.ciao.es/Reproductores_DVD_273504_3

I have a Philips 5960 and think well of the Philips brand. There are less expensive models -- mine plays just about all video formats (avi, xvid, etc) and it has a front input for a USB memory stick! (I assume your mother won't use the USB option?)

And there's always www.ebay.es .... no country site for Portugal, I don't think.

(note there is www.miau.pt which looks something like Ebay)
