Default drill bit

Can anyone tell me where I can buy, beg, borrow or steal an 11/32" drill bit in central Portugal please?

It's needed to tap a thread in an aluminium casing for an engine modification so near metric equivalent won't work.

Hi

That's quicker than I could have got it to you as I would have put it in a parcel I am sending over.

Thankfully Mum seems to be showing a little improvement.

I can't even find common metric tap drills here in the Algarve; 4.2, 6.8, + 10.2mm bits I have to get by mail order.

I buy from Chronos sometimes, also for lathe tools.

I buy most drill sizes from "Chagas" in Portimao, they're very competitive with pricing. Packs of 10 small cobalt drills are just a few euros, so cheap I thought they'd made a mistake. But they looked at me like I was an alien when I asked for 4.2mm. They even have big morse taper bits in stock.

What will happen after Brexit? Will small orders get stuck in customs like other non-EU mail?

I tried some German sites but almost none will post international. I tried Dutch, but they don't have much compared to UK.

Maybe the French have some options, I haven't tried yet.
