Does anyone know where the Albufeira Skatepark will be ?
No - please don't say Albufeira.
I've seen a photograph of the actual construction noticeboard, which informs us it 'may' be ready by August 2007, and I've seen plans of the park.
If I knew exactly where in Albufeira the site was, I could visit and work out roughly when it actually will be ready.
This is very exciting for my Son (in case you were wondering). However, I am 'Old Skool' and still have an imagination to carve up the concrete with. Even if the centre of gravity precludes any such physical activity in this direction.
Surely someone knows where this mecca is rising ?
P.S. Does anyone else know what a 'Flyin Surfer' is ? Or a 'Super Scuda'?
Do the names Tony Alva or Stacey Peralta ring a bell ?
Has anyone else ground their Trackers down to the kingpin ?

The new skatepark as far as i know is up the hill from the watches roundabout in albufeira towards the football pitch.
If you were coming along the dual carriageway from montechoro, you would go past the bp garage on your right and then turn left at the watch roundabout. Stay on that road and it takes you up past the Bellavista hotel and the first choice office. go down the hill and you come to the football pitch, take the road on your right in front of the football pitch and just as you go past the end of the pitch the road bends to right and you will see the billboard for the skatepark on your right.

Not sure to be honest mate but i know i have seen decks for sale somewhere, i think it was in sport zone in algarve shopping but im not certain it was there.
