And the right to abode is unknown too. If you're a UK citizen, you may no longer have the option to take up residence in Portugal post-brexit.

I don't know what the rules are in Mexico. Some countries let you stay, some don't, some change their minds from time to time, uprooting people who have been there for years.

Don't take immigration for granted.
