Destruction of Salgados lagoon area
Many of you may know the lovely Salgados area with its beautiful beach and the lagoon which attracts flamingos and many migratory birds.
Silves Council have given permission for the erection of a monstrous development of hotels, tourist villages, commercial aresa and - yet another 18 hole golf course.
This is an area of outstanding natural beauty and would be the final part of the Silves council coastline to be swamped by concrete.

Biffa I think you need a better / more complete link.
I would be happy to sign, the lagoon at Salgados is one of our favourite places.
