Cleaning a cisterna?
My cisterna (fed from borehole) has accumulated sludge/sediment on the bottom and I've spotted a couple of floating roots through the access hatch, so it's time for a clean.
I'm too old/large/lazy to get through the hatch and do it myself so can anyone recommend a company to do it for me? I'm East Algarve (Moncarapacho).
The fossa cleaners just suck the contents up and get rid of it so aren't really right for the job IMHO. Cisternas require jet washing inside and total removal of sludge etc. followed by disinfecting before refilling.
Plenty of YouTube videos on what's involved but they're all from Brazil.
Thanks.

Had mine cleaned out a couple of years ago including sterilising the tank and pipe work to the house. Ask Brian at aguarapida24 for a quote. J
