We plan to buy a house/ appart in the Algarve between Porches and Lagos.
We want to have legal advice when buying. We asked 3 quotes and the lowest was 1.500 EUR.

I read somewhere that somebody paid EUR 750 - 1.000 in Portimao, but I cannot find the info anymore.

Any advice?

It should not be about the price but the quality of your advice.
All documents checked, property legality etc.
Simply do not rely only on what the agent or owner tells you.
Use a solicitor unconnected in any way with the purchase.
Your price of 1500 does sound about right from our experience.

If you're referring to lawyers fees alone that's high compared to my area (central zone) where about €600 - €1000 is the norm.
