hello, have only just seen your post, but if you are still looking for a builder I could send you the details of the builder who did some work for me recently( He put in a new shower room ,and double glazing and few other things) He's english but lived in Tavira since he was a teenager he and his dad have had the business for about 40 years ,speaks fluent portuguese , work was great and completed quickly.

If you need someone to repair shutters then Mr Orlando is your man. He is from Sao Bras. He speaks a little english. Fixed our shutters for €30. the telephone number for Senor Orlando is 968036976
