bear repair
Does anyone know of a person or shop who is skilled at repairing stuffed toy animals?
Have a big steiff bear that was mauled by a dog.

This is serious!
1) I suggest you ask at anyone of the Natura outlets in many of the Algarve's large shopping malls! Their doors after manned by ursines of this nature & they may be able to point you in the direction of some appropriate local source of assistance.
2) If not, aforementioned ursine may require a casaevac to Lisbon, where resides the "Hospital das Bonecas" which, since 1930 has been a prime national purveyor and national source of such services.

I remember them as a kid when I was in Lisbon. They are near the Mundial!

We've decided to send him back to momma Steiff in Germany for care.
The postage is expensive when parcels cross the border.
I think something needs to be done about that...

I see that steiff.are a #DHL partner.
If the Ursine is treasured, I would strongly suggest #VIP DHL transport!
