You really should come south.
The only negative for you would be that rental costs will be higher and less availability of long term rentals.

I got a confirmation email a few days after sending my docs, and the package arrived about 6 weeks after that.
I had to pay the duty and iva at the post office on picking it up.

When it's more than about E20, it gets the customs ritual; you'd better not be in a hurry!
In my case I went in knowing this, but it still got me stressed out. I don't need the item until 2 weeks from now, and I did order it 4 months in advance, as it was 1/4 the price it would have cost from an EU source.
Mostly, I only order really small items from beyond the EU; special screws and stuff like that.

Mine was $22.21. The $20.00 one went through for free though. So it seems like they work in $ for outside the EU or it depends on the mood of the official.

It only took 8 day's to arrive.
Why :- I bought from a seller who sent it by
" Royal Mail International Standard" (Small Packets)

SEUR :- Purchased product online from a PT WS which turned out to be a Spanish Cº
Paid by PayPal , filled in ALL the requested info including my mobile Nº & Paid for delivery by Seur.
Rec'd mail from Seur - Delivery 24th.
Checked Seur site again - Delivery now 25th ?
Checked Seur site late yesterday
" Non Delivery no body home" in Spanish
Now it get's interesting
Phoned Seur HQ in Lisboa :-Gave delivery cargo Nº &

"Why did your driver report that no body was home, when I was all day?"

"What is your address"

"But you already have it on the cargo doc's"

"Please confirm your address"

Which I did

To which the lady on the other end said

"But the driver could not find your address"

The conversation deteriorated rather quickly after this comment.

I love this country , but this kind off BS & could not care less attitude as I'm going to get paid anyway really get's my back up !
