Can someone recommend an accountant in Algarve who is familiar with the NHR status? We need to apply while it still exists. Thanks in advance

It is something you do yourself online on the Portuguese Finanzas site, once you have a fiscal number . Not sure where you are but simply apply to register on the Finanzas site, they send a paasword to your home address ( assuming Portuguese residence ) about a week later.

Then insert Fiscal Nº and Password . Answer question with country of origin , tick and wait. Go back 48 hours later should be there. Download pdf. Don't let someone charge you thousands for doing it
