I am new to this site and trying figure out how to use it etc.

Does anyone have any information of future police transfers to Australia from the UK?

Any news/updates would be great!!

WAPol say on their website, http://www.stepforward.wa.gov.au/news.html that they are not planning to return next year, however, the news from over there is that they will probably need to as they need numbers. Best advice is to keep checking their website, or here for any updates.

WA have recruited recently but when do you think the other areas of Australia will recruit from the UK again?

WA and SA are the only states to have recruited directly from the UK, and SA have not done so for a good number of years. Apparently, reading the papers, and hearing reports from WA, the government has said it wants to increase police numbers, and it's POSSIBLE they will return to the UK, however only if they don't/can't fill the places with local people.
The other states in Australia have never, as far as I know, recruited directly from the UK.
Just keep an eye on their site and here and one of them will tell you something.

Thanks for the update. I will keep an eye on it and hopefully it will be sooner rather than later.
