Hi.
I am looking at transferring to Guernsey from Scotland. Has anyone here done this previously?

I worked with a guy who went from Sussex Police to Guernsey Police, but that was about 20 years ago. He loved it over there. Beautiful island, I've visited a couple of times
However I'm not sure you can transfer as such these days, probably best to contact the police in Guernsey and pose the question. Good luck!

Thanks for replying. They are looking for transferees just now which is why I am looking.
I'm looking for others' experiences of the island and housing etc. Thanks.

Given the size of Guernsey and the fact that most people moving there would not need to utilise the advice from this forum, I really supect that you are unlikely to get many replies, especially given the Guernsey police force will be quite tiny compared with the rest of the UK, however I do wish you well with your endevour.
