Most Forces have at some time or another taken part in some very bizarre activities to placate the public. This I think takes the whole biscuit. I was gobsmacked to see my own Force involved in something so pointless and time wasting.

On a more serious note - what a complete waste of resources, and the excuses given by that prat inspector about road safety and curbing antisocial behaviour is an insult to every educated tax payer in Kent !!

I know. Met him a few times, a blunt speaking, no nonsense man who improved Kent beyond measure. Is definately the worse since he left.

At least at the end of the operation you ended up with some shopping carts. At the end of most operations you just end up with a pile of papers.

I an sooooooo glad I left in 2006 after 20yrs and didnt stay! Its a sorry state that the Police in UK is in!
