Coral and Howard MET RG borough, (Greenwich) 4 years service (I will be one of the club 10) if its on time served Im sure. Both H and I are both serving but H failed at the entrance exam point, my dad seems to think its the way H looks, you will understand his meaning when you meet him, but he is lovely and looks do deceive. We live in Kent but can travel to London no probs. No rug rats, just 5 frozen at the mo, probably best place for them right now. Waiting for news from SAPOL before we have another go at IVF. House to sell, after reno's are finished and 2 cars to sell, and 5 motor cycles to decide what to do with, 2 are definately coming, 1942 Knucklehead Harley and a 1969 3 wheeler Servicar Harley, and a 1955 Panhead Harley and a 1955-ish shovelhead Harley and a Norton dominator I think, thats H's and its being built and nearly finished for those of you who know anything about bikes and are the least bit interested.

We have 2 pussy cats Inca and Purdy and Merlin the magical puppy who will all be joining us in sunny Oz.

Out of interest, which website have you been looking at? I've regularily checking 'The Advertiser' but have found nothing there (unless I've missed it) and haven't found any other sites with regular up to date, all round news?

Sounds hopeful though does'nt it. We are all waiting patiently, and driving ourselves mad!! I am concerned that only sixty of us may find out by the end of the month, and the remaining ninety of us will again be left in limbo!!

Good Morning all,

I thought after most of us being in the same room last Saturday and not meeting up it would be nice to put some faces to names. I see some people have already started to put some info on this thread about themselves.

I have created a little webpage where if you like I can upload photos and info about anyone who wants to be on there.

So far it only contains the Rippos! But please email me (or PM me for my email address) and then send me a photo and anytext you want put on and I will stick it on the webpage.

I will try to keep up with it regularly, but just remember I am a working mum, and often time is tight. (I mean it's 10.15am now and my kids and I are still in PJs cos I have been busy with this webpage!!)

I look forward to hearing from you - soon.

I started this info idea so i better tell you about us.

I think I hold the record for being the oldest git! I'm 44, yes you read it right, so I'm probably 10 of the '10' club. I have 25 years service in patrol, firearms and 11 years CID. i'm based at Gatwick Airport, and NO I can't get cheap flights to OZ.
I have a lovely wife Clare ( she's going to read this later-creep- creep) and no she's not as old as me. Two sons Stuart 16 and Tom 9. Different mums!.
Two Springer Spaniels 10 and 3 who you have all badgered me into bringing. If you are on the same flight as the 10 year old don't say I didn't warn you about the smell !
We live in Mid Sussex. I had my interview with Brian and turned down the March course. How costly will that prove?????
I am going to see the overseas manager at HSBC this week so I hope I can answer questions on equity, tax etc after. I already qualify for my pension so it's quite important i get it right.
If you know anyone whos 'paddling who's not on site yet, give them a kick.

we have two kids,jade 9 yrs going on teenage stroplet - are all daughters the same or does it get any easier when they get older ?,and callum 6 yrs whose only concern is that no crocodiles get into our "village" in oz - oh for life to be that simple.-----------------------------------------------------------
it would be good if we could arrange a get together and trade information and ideas like the container sharing although i am hoping to convince whoever buys our house if it comes to it that they should take all that as well thus only needing suitcase and passport.-------------------------------

After reading the "police officers who are planning to move to OZ" since last year, yes it really was last year! We have followed on reading SAPOL 60 and Club One Five '0' religiously every day! and decided to join in, not that we were reluctant but everything you want to say had been said.

My other half is in the pool, treading water anxiously, we have put the house on the market and have to keep deflecting peoples questions of "where are you moving to?" As we have told no one but the two children of 10 and 11 who have also told no one! I am police staff and we fantasise about simultaneously handing in our notice. No one at work knows either as an Inspector pal signed the consent on the quiet.

We dream of blue skies, barbies, swimming pool in the back yard! and Cooper Brewery Pale ale beer (which hubbie has not had for years) at our house warming party that you are all invited to in OZ!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully this year.

Welcome to this forum and congratulations on your first post. I think we have all got a little addicted to this site, and need it to keep us sane.
Fair play on keeping it so quiet. I am far too outspoken to have not said anything. Some of my colleagues did wonder why I was surfing the net looking at houses to buy in SA.
Saying that we didn't tell anyone until Rich had passed the exam.

Good luck with your house sale. I am too nervous to put ours on the market until we get a confirmed start date!
