Default TRAIN TO BE A PLUMBER IN OZ

Hi there,

My husband and I are talking about emigrating to Melbourne next year. My husband is currently a service garage manager but would like to be a plumber.

Does anyone know how he would go about doing this in Oz?? I am a little niave when it comes to these things. Would it be like an apprenticeship in the UK? And if so, how much would he get paid whilst he is training and how long does it take.

Thanks for your help,

Kind Regards,

Tanya

4 years to train ,will earn peanuts while training and not a deal more when qualified .If he likes digging and mixing mud "cement" and working like a ni**** for a pittance it could be a good career move .It is not like blighty here
