Hi I'm waiting to do my practical trade assessment as part of the skills assessment process for western aus and was wondering if your some one that has done it recently and u would be able to give me the heads up on what I need to expect and anything worth doing before I attend. Thanks for reading and look forward to hearing any responses. Ta

Hi mate im also a plumber and about to apply, only just joined site yesterday, have you had your assesment yet if so how did it go.

hi mate, no not yet still waiting for a date to be released as the date they have in april was already fully booked so prob be until may now, from what i have found out its all pretty normal stuff, bit of copper some screwed, mini bath room suite simular to what was done back when u were at college, test your work, answer some questions and some silver soldering, apparently you have to an additional topic as well as plumbing for the practical roof plumber or gas, so i will be doing the gas subject also

good choice to do the gas, the roofing option looked bloody awful, watched a bloke struggle for 3 hours trying to cut a bit of tin for a corner.
