My Outlook mail ( hotmail.co.uk ) has ended up with loads of little squares where there used to be informative symbols. If anyone else is having this problem. I tried the very complicated Microsoft fix which did not work so I went to Contact Microsoft and after a few questions hit the 'email Microsoft', this opened in a new tag my Outlook mail, surprise surprise in this one all the symbols were back to what they used to be. So just deleted old bookmark and put this one in it's place and it is still working.
