Name the Province
The President joked recently that the Philippines would be better off if it was made a province of China. Embarrassed smiles seen around the room of Filipino Chinese Business people.
Brings the old adage "Many a true word made in jest" to my mind...though perhaps "almost true" here is more accurate. A recent report shows the Chinese have been very quick to put forward names for underwater ocean features locally and elsewhere in the world. Maybe a committee there is already working on the name of its new province? Just on the off chance.
Perhaps we can help. To start with I suggest The Chow King Islands (sorry Jollibee!), or if they want to really firmly state their claim, The Greater Spratly Islands

Capiz is known as the province of the Wakwak that will most likely be changed to WokWok Province.

Re: Name the Province
Wiki says China has 22 provinces, 23 if you include Taiwan (as they do). So continuing on a culinary theme they could make their territorial menu easy for foreigners and just call us "Province Number 24". Or group with Taiwan and call it "Set Province for Two".
