Default EPL streaming

Just saw this report on the BBC News:

Premier League wins anti-piracy court order - BBC News

which might be of interest to those of us who like to watch Premier League games streamed free on certain websites.

What do you think it means for that activity, if anything?

Will it mean more streams with non English commentaries?

That will be back to watching on PC and listening on the radio, we used to do this when I worked in South America, live game on TV, English commentary on radio.

I think this hinges on the definition of ''Live''

I watch streaming sites that are NOT live, they are probably at best 30 seconds delayed. Anyway we will soon see

Can be quite a difference in timing. I'm now watching England v S. Africa test cricket and combining with TMS. Depending on the Sky Sports stream the radio is up to a minute in advance - although that can be good if you are doing something else and just want to see the significant action.

Lol, its really quite pathetic, the way the businesses try to use tech to limit other tech. I regularly spend time in a bar that stream everyrhing illegally, and has never failed to get what progs they want. All it takes is a selection of vpn accounts, a few android and roku boxes, and a few young pc gaming enthusiasts. Honestly, big tech stands no chance. They said in total they pay about 75 pounds a month for everything, including their 150mb broadband.
