It's true I do take Marmite with me. We were in the Phils over Christmas and one thing I noticed was a distinct lack of unsweetened bread. Nether Goldilocks or French Bakers sold it any longer. Also some of the fast food joints were out of diet drinks. Being diabetic this was a bit troublesome. Anyway back to Marmite, it doesn't taste so good on sweetened bread.

Well if you ever make a trip to Penang, there is plenty of it in Tesco here. I love the stuff . But..... I guess....

This sounds a bit mad but vicks vapour rub,,, few dabs on ankles wrists and neck. its also really good for the bites...

I use OFF lotion and never get bitten unless I forget to put it on.

normal skin protection from any pharmacy will do. If inside scented plug in anti bug scent is good or just go for the good old mosquito coils.
