Tip for funding shipping costs
If you are transferring money overseas when you move then using a currency exchange specialist rather than your bank can help pay for your shipping costs and some moving companies partner with currency specialists to help get you the best deals.
Bournes partner with Moneycorp who can save you significantly. To give you an example, say you were to buy £100,000 worth of euros, Moneycorp would have saved you £3,600 more on the exchange rate against RBS. Moneycorp would have charged you £79,365 against RBS (£82,994).
So, if you're thinking about buying a house or transferring fairly large amounts then this sort of saving covers a significant chunk of the cost of shipping, and even if you're only transferring small amounts there are still savings to be made, and every little helps right?
Read more or get in touch with Moneycorp for more information on our website here: http://bournesmoves.com/internationa..._services.aspx
Of course you don't HAVE to spend the money on your shipping, maybe you're getting that paid for by your employer or already had budget set aside....so how about a big going away bash or a quick holiday at a stopover en route? Think we can think of plenty of ways to spend a little extra cash

We've just put up a case study on our website explaining a little more about how using moneycorp for your international transfers when you emigrate can save you money that can help fund your international shipping...
