We arrived on the 27th August in Auckland, stayed for two weeks then travelled North to Whangarei after making the purchase of a campervan. Lovely touring around in Northland and Coramandel..then down to Taupo (great place), lots of stop offs down to Wellington, great crossing to South Island. Dallied a while in Nelson area found work but not a great selection of houses (mainly due to the high prices) We have eventually ended in Dunedin. Great area, fabby schools, offer accepted on house
All in all we love it here, warm friendly people ~ we have made loads of friends already. The only fly in the ointment is the blasted exchange rate it will increase over the next week! If anyone else is thinking of touring with a family, please get in touch ~ we will be happy to share our experiences.
