Your very welcome. Kaipara bakery does a smoked fish pie for $2.80 and Mr Bons a great pepper steak one for $2.50. A whole range of pies at both. I bought a smoked fish pie at Akl airport, cost $5.90 and was very similar quality to kaipara bakerys just more pricey (airports for ya I guess).
We shall give the ones you mentioned a try when we get out and about. Thanks for that

pinkkat75 if you want to bid on that 'dehu' in dunedin then we would be happy to collect it for you and store it untill you drive through here.

We came to Invers for the weather
Seriously, I came over with Specsavers and this is a great city for a new store. We are opening around Christmas, council permits permitting. We love the space down here, and everyone's really welcoming. We are informed that the wind isn't always this bad
Our dogs love Oreti beach, and Fosbender and Queens parks, and it's great just having sheep as neighbours.

My God That sounds too much money. Best be damn good pies n real chips for that price! Actually if you fancy a really good pie ( I always make a point of going when I'm in Akl), go to Commercial rd, Helensville and grab a pie from Mr Bons and one from Kaipara bakery. Both do exceptional pies, well worth the trip, and you can always go for a dip in the hot pools in Parakai ( few mins drive away) while you're there
