Hi everyone just wondering if anyone lives in the Hawkes bay area as my family and i have lived in Dunedin now for the last 16 months and we gain residency in june and we are looking to move to the north island (Hawkes bay) and wondered if anyone could tell us whats its like before we go and have a look .

We travelled around thee in the winter and thought it was beautiful - particularly liked Napier, with all its Art Deco buildings. We would have settled there if not felt it a bit remote for us (we are now in Auckland - so may well be ideal for you, especially if you were happily settled in Dunedin)

Plus all those vineyards
