Hey up Chips

You still based in the Parklands area?? How's the development of that place coming along?

Hope all is well with you

No, renting in Bromley/Linwood now and surprisingly nice here .
Drove down Bower Ave last week and the whole Parklands end is a building site, lined with lorries. So much going on there. Will be lovely when it's done but rather glad not living there right now .
Plenty of roadworks where I live now and a bit of rebuilding.
Filling up in Pegasus?

Bromley/Linwood and nice - faints

Glad to see you're enjoying renting there. Is Linwood Avenue as bad as they say it is with the roadworks (if either of you go through there)

Pegasus is coming along slowly. A few shops have signed up to build but there's some competition going on with Ravenswood. Quite a large number of developments are happening around the Waimak area - great for State Highway 1 when commuting to work

Golf Course is great mind, the lake is fun for a kayak, beach within a 20 minute walk, a very good local store and cafeteria - it doesn't need much more to be a lovely place to live and bring up kids. The main reason why we moved to here, a perfect place to bring up our boy (he's got a 30 second walk to the school here) and the new arrival when he/she says hello around April/May time

That all sounds awesome!
I will admit that Linwood/Bromley were not the places that sprung to mind when looking for a rental but with a dog - it came down to anywhere that wasn't a hovel. The rental we have is small but all EQC work done before we moved in, HRV system so no crying windows either.
Don't really use Linwood Ave - plenty of works on Pages/Breezes Road though . We live near Linfield Park, down a private road, end one of 5 houses, so not really troubled by noise etc. Just have to remember to add on extra time when arranging to meet Kaiapoi way .
Glad all going well for you and many congrats on next years arrival!
