Default Driving to Singapore from KL - where to park

Planning a trip to Singapore from KL. Easiest for us to drive and park in JB then public transport to Singapore.

Where to park in JB that is: cheap, safe, near to public transport/border crossing?

It seems like JB Sentral is also an option but not sure on parking prices and how to the. Arrange to get into Singapore. Can't believe how little info there is on the internet for this.

I think there are taxis that are allowed to drop you at Queen Street, S'pore and from there you can get a taxi / bus / metro. There might also be a very regular bus service from JB Sentral too.... sorry, not much help because I always use Tuas over to the West.

Is there anywhere to park at Tuas? That's an alternative for us as we're also going to LEGOLAND which is over that way.

I walked past the bus area the other day, renewing my MACS, and there are parking spaces, but not that many. I'm not sure if they were for the general public or the Border Officers.....

Have you considered just driving into S'pore? I know the VEP is now $35 (but you get 10 days free, so if it's a short stay, no pay!), and there are tolls, and parking charges, but it will save you a load of hassle.

Just an update for the benefit of others:
Parking at JB Sentral is easy (albeit a very busy car park). RM12 per day capped and RM3 per night.
Access to CIQ you need to first traipse through JB Sentral which is not well signposted from the car park but you need to exit car park in opposite direction from CIQ, go downstairs and then up again into JB Sentral.
Causeway Link bus is RM2.60 per person to Queen Street.
Off bus and on again to deal with Singapore immigration - don't forget the immigration form which isn't obviously placed.
Back on bus to downtown Singapore.
Quite easy really but a little slow.
Bus back from same place, same price but Sing dollars not Ringgit!
Exit from JB Sentral is interesting as you have to go down the entry ramp?!

It was the only way out after the exit barrier! I did question it at the time but passed it of as another factor of road layouts in malaysia!
