Any Expats/Caucasians living in Nusa Idaman?
Hiya, just registered. We've been driving across from Singapore every weekend for almost 3months now viewing numerous "possible homes", we really love Leisure Farm but trying to rent "cheap" in order to save & buy in LF. Found a great house in Nusa Idaman, but after reading some older posts on the web re crime etc was wondering if there were any expats/caucasians living there and their views........

Hi Googley, just to say welcome to the forum. I see you're one of the ever growing numbers of folks looking to move across the causeway.
I cannot help very much as I'm up North in Penang. If you don't get any replies to this thread, try tagging on to one of the many existing threads about Nusajaya, Ledang Farm, etc etc.

I'm not sure what your budget is or what size of place you need to rent - but we have been renting a 2 bedroom place in Garden Court in LF for the last 5 months which is pretty cheap.
I'm not sure if they have any places still available for rent here or in Pingarrou Bay (sp?) - both are quite reasonably priced. If you speak to Srinah at the Bale Club she'll be able to tell you.
We've just been given notice though that someone has bought this unit and will be moving in on 1st Feb so we might need a floor to sleep on...
