US dentist moving to London
Hello all, I completed my studies at NYU dental school and I am very interested in possibly moving to London for work. I would have just 1 year of experience from residency.
I have a few questions regarding the process of getting a temporary license to work in the UK and would love to hear from those in particular who have moved from the US to London to work as dentists.
1. How difficult is it to pass the dental exam for temporary license (ORE)?
>I have heard that in other countries like HK, they purposely make it almost impossible for expats to pass this test.
2. Are many UK dentists willing to hire American trained dentists as an associate?
3. What would the salary be like?
