UK RMN moving to???
Hi there,
I am half way through MH nurse training in Scotland. I don't want to stay in the UK after I qualify. I have been considering Canada however there doesn't seem to be much chance to that as they mostly seem to require dual trained nurses.
Where else is there possible to move to and work as a RMN?

There are a few provinces that accept RMN look at Manitoba as one. USA will require you to be General trained

British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan all recognise mental health nurses (psychiatric nurses). I'm not sure about the other provinces, but there are definitely some that have mental health nurses as a particular field and instead the general trained nurses also cover mental health.
