Smile Wanted: Short Term Accommodation in Queenstown

I'm moving to Queenstown from Sydney at the end of February and need some furnished accommodation for six weeks until I move into my new home. From my research to date, it seems a little tricky as it's high tourist season and most landlords are seeking to let rooms out to tourists at several hundred dollars a night. I'd also consider flatshare or housesitting and was hoping that someone was looking to make a few extra bucks by letting out their holiday home for a few weeks.

Grateful if anyone could provide me with any other ideas or guidance as to where best to try and find some accommodation.

Thanks

Thanks MrsFychan. I had been looking at them but the length of tenancy was a problem.

Not to fear though as I have managed to get some accommodation. I placed an advert in Lakes Weekly and Mountain Scene and had half a dozen replies.
