Question on New Zealand PR application
Hi,
Just had a couple of questions on PR application to the London office?
1. Million dollar question - How much time does this take at the London office? I have seen people getting it in 8 weeks (in this newsgroup.) - mostly UK citizens I guess.
I am an Indian citizen currently currently working in the UK. I was told 6-9 months in the ack. letter. Any experiences?
2. How does the London office inform of PR acceptance (phone/letter)?
Thanks in advance.

Good luck R, I'm not Indian so can't give anything to you but encouragement, the NZIS is very definitely policy led, being Indian will likely only lead to longer processing time as docs need more rigorous checking due to the odd cheat that spoils the apple barrel

Thanks for your reply ....
My other question - How does the NZIS London office notify the applicants of the PR grant - phone/letter or both?

Re: Question on New Zealand PR application
Normally you would deal with your case officer contact by email if you have a pc internet connection, otherwise letter with phone backup
