So we're likely to have Labour, NZ First and Green Party coalition with Jacinda as the Prime Minister.
I kinda wanted NZ to have a change of government. I thought we could do with a fresh set of eyes, fresh policies and fresh ideas. Not sure how the coalition will work but I'm sure all those details will come in time.

Heads up for all you'z wanting to migrate to NZ though................. Mr Peters with the agreement of the Prime minister Elect state they are concerned with the number of migrants coming here who aren't actually skilled. Changes are afoot people. Maybe a good idea to get those applications in asap

Put this question in a sheep dip thread, general consensus, and I agree is that any new policies if and when they come will affect new applicants rather than those already here although I know NZF our forward the idea of extending the residency period you need in order to gain a PR visa

I think any new policies or policy changes will
effect everyone except the people it should effect.
Trade deals with China will ensure the status quo is maintained
