Re: October Arrivals and Departures 2017
We had it organised for them to come out the same time as me months ago, but there was a mess up, partly due to my husband and the partly the vets fault with regards to a blood test. Luckily I reaslised their mistake and have tried getting it sortered asap. They may actually be able to come over in November but the luck we've had in making the time frames we want with this process I'm not getting my hopes up.

I've calculated that it'll cost between £2.5k and £3k for one cat (including quarantine, import permit, vet, border clearance and travel). Does that sound about right to you?

Re: October Arrivals and Departures 2017
Can I ask how complicated/expensive it was in general to move the pets? I only intend to be moving with one cat, and have a checklist and timeline of the process but is there anything that wasn't obviously clear to you when researching that messed you up? Or something that was a bit of a surprise discovery?

I can't believe it's now my turn to add info onto the arrivals page - I have been a member of this site since January 2008 - omg, our lives have changed so much, but this has always been our dream
So here goes...
Who: Myself, our 7 & 5 yr old boys and 4yr old daughter (husband has already moved over in July)
Where from: St Helens, Merseyside
leaving Date: 23rd October 2017
Where to: Waikanae, Kapiti Coast, Wellington
Arrival Date: 25th October 2017
