Hi,
I am currently looking for advice regarding schools and children on visitor visas.
I plan to move to Auckland around early November this year with my family.
My eldest is 5 years old and will of school age.
As my visa will be work to residence (Talent) my son will not fall under my visa or my wife's who will be partnership (visitor) as she does not plan to work just yet, this is something we would review should we wish to stay and gain residency.
Therefore my question is do i need pay any fees for my son and can you organise schools on arrival as we are not sure where about we will be living yet?

Your son will be under your visa as is your wife and he will be treated as a domestic student, this is supposing you are talking about a 30 month WTR visa.

you can organise schools on arrival, yes.
