Default Skype Interviews

Hi,

Please can anyone offer any help / input on Skype Interviews! My other half is set to have one if her application is successful with Auckland DHB.

Has anyone got an idea what type of questions are asked? Are they competency based etc?

Any help would be great!

Thank you

Amy

It depends on the job and the style of interview questions they are using, may well be behavioural which seems in flavour at the moment.

If it's clinical, it may include something about Maori health and health inequalities.

What sort of role have they applied for?

Questions i got asked........

Why do you want to come to New Zealand

Describe your previous clinical experience

Describe how you cope in stressful situations

What do you know about cultural sensitivity and the treaty of waitangi

If you made a mistake what would you do

Do you have any support in country (family, friends etc)

Hi Gill,

Thanks for the info. My other half will be applying for an anaesthetic technician role.

She has completed competency based interviews before so hopefully she’ll be ok.

I’ll get her to complete some research re Maori culture etc and hot topics currently affecting NZ

Thanks

Amy

At our end or there’s?
Thanks for your help. Do you work for ADHB? How do you find the environment compared to the NHS?
Any regrets about moving?
