It is only my experience but I would recommend taking it yourself. The officer can go through your application and take copies of documents that you want to take away with you. It is quite reassuring.
Have you placed it all in a loose leaf file with all the sections (in the order of the application) seperated. I even typed an index.
Make the most of the information on the ground floor too.
