Medicals!!!

Medicals!!!
Hi,
My medical was referred on 6th September it was all fine and completed on 15th September, my husband contacted immigration yesterday via email for an update on his, he was told that further information regarding his medical was requested on 15th September, however the email wasn't clear on who the information had been requested from?! Do INZ request information direct from the panel doctor or will they be referring to their own MA's?! He has responsed asking for clarification however hasn't had a response yet so was just wondering if anyone had any experience of this?
The wait seems to be dragging!
The email did say generally medicals will be completed 10 working days after the health assessment team have all the information they require. I'm hoping and praying that his medical is the last piece and once that's completed we will be granted - fingers crossed!!

The panel doctor who carried out your medical in the UK or wherever is only approved for that purpose. They will not be asked to pass further comment or give an opinion on your medical report.
You have the right to ask the panel doctor or another medical professional to comment on any findings but it'll only be good for your own peace of mind as INZ will just ignore anything unless it is from an MA or a higher medical professional in NZ.
We filed prognosis reports from a UK consultant specialist which completely rubbished the MA advice and INZ just ignored it. In the end we employed the services of an NZ based consultant specialist who agreed with the UK based consultant and also rubbished the MA advice, but this time INZ had no option but to agree and approve the visas.

INZ will only deal with their MA's.

Thanks our panel doctor had no concerns with either finding so we will see what INZ come back with - thanks for your response!

So he phoned!
It's their mistake they emailed him on 15th but they misspelled his email address!!!!
Now he has to wait for the mail to be resent - I could cry!

He got the email this morning, retest this afternoon all going well we should still be on schedule!

His medical has cleared finally!!!!
Fingers crossed now we don’t have much longer to wait for approval!!

Brilliant news, congratulations. Where in NZ will you be heading? When will you be going? How exciting. We are only just starting our application journey. We will be going where ever I can get a job.
