Medical referral

Re: Medical referral
We do have an immigration adviser so was assuming they were kind of that?
I've spoken to my gp and he thinks it's stupid that they are ignoring a Rheumatologist report and asking for a gp report now. When gps don't look at this kind of thing. The gp has booked me in for an emergency X-ray today. The gp and the rheumatologist have also said even if there was this thing on my ribs it's nothing to worry about at all as anyone can get it, it just happens and isn't a concern and doesn't cause any harm or need any treatment. I'm so frustrated now lol.

Re: Medical referral
speak directly to the CO, seems something is getting lost in translation with the agent.
Ask the CO what exactly are they seeing that no one else has seen and what do they expect you to do to prove that something isn't there isn't actually there???
of course done in a nice calm manner.
Personally I think that agents have to have a certain amount of failures to be seen to be doing their jobs properly but as I say just my thinking and does in no way relate to your situation.

We have just got hold of the radiology depeartment that checked over my x-ray and they have just confirmed that there is nothing at all wrong with the x-ray. They are going to look into this. I have asked them to to possibly re send this one on the off chance that immigration are looking at the wrong x-ray and I will most likely send the new x-ray along with it if the findings are the same. ( have managed to get a new x-ray the same day I heard back from immigration) If not then the gp will report what the findings are and whether it will need treatment or if it is a course for concern etc.
This is just my luck lol.
Everyone that I have spoken to in the last hour hasn't said the wrong x-ray could on no way not have been sent and that there could be a possibility it has. As I had to have it re taken on due to something being wrong with it.

Re: Medical referral
So I had my x-ray re done this morning and the results are in. Apparently everyone else who has checked over my x-ray are incompetent. The results have come back that I have had a trauma of some sort and it's where immigration have said it was. Although I am very much unaware that I have had an accident to cause trauma and to what extent I have injured myself, I believe it must have been a long time ago if I had.
But my gp wants me to go In Thursday and get checked over and sounded a bit concerned with the trauma part of it although it has been said it is benign.

Re: Medical referral
Immigration found marks on my lungs that the Panel Doctor did not inform me about, found this out when we submitted our paperwork in person and the person said of course it will be slightly delayed because of my xray. BIG shock. went direct to my own GP, had xray same day and it turned out to be scarring from when I had pleurisy when I was pregnant with my daughter 10 years earlier. It cam back all ok from immigration check after 2 weeks, but I was ready with GP report if they wanted further tests.

My panel doctor said mine was perfectly normal and immigration spotted something wrong.
I'm wondering if mine is something from a long time ago that's why they just didn't see anything wrong with my x-ray, who knows guess I'll find out tomorrow.
My trauma is on and around my thoracic and axilla Ajacent to the lateral border of my right scalpula. Which I believe is part of spine and shoulder blade but that was dr google that told me that lol.
Bit worrying I have no idea how that happened. I did go in for shoulder pain about 3 years ago I was told it was shoulder instability and given Physio which didn't work. I still have niggling pain but always thought that was due to my condition.
Well I'm kind of thinking/hoping, that as I have been told that it is currently harmless, my visa may be approved, providing this isn't anything more sinister and is just an old injury. They have accepted my life long condition so here's hoping they accept old trauma. ( well I'm assuming as they haven't asked for any more information on that)
I'll keep you updated. But I'll be waiting most likely another 3+ weeks for another response from the ma once we have sent a new report.

I will say here that I feel your agent has been less than good going into this application which was always going to be something of a battle.
Lane Neave are specialist immigration lawyers. With their level of expertise for such cases they could have perhaps spared you this.

The panel doctor sent me my emedical today.
My medical was rated B because bipolar diagnosis and was also stated in the medical that it appears its miss diagnosis. I got a report (sent with my emedical) for immigration and the panel doctor was right, I was re evaluated and it was an incorrect diagnosis. The panel doctor advised in my medical it should be an A grade not a B.
They have gone over my medical with a fine tooth comb even on everything else that was rated an A grade.
Along with my x-ray report it states A grade and no sagnificant findings on the calcified soft tissue area. ( I am guessing now that, This is why it was not fully mentioned, because what was found is harmless) they are ignoring that and wanting further reports. My new report is pretty much going to say the same thing, but more in detail of why it is there I guess. I've been checked over by a rheumatologist ( whom had been ignored by immigration) and now a gp, both have said all is ok.
I don't understand why they are checking things that are graded A. If I was never miss diagnosed with bipolar I'm assuming I would have never been referred and passed the medical on first check.

Re: Medical referral
Perhaps they don't 100% trust the medical team who all missed the calcified soft tissue, so they are going over everything a second time to confirm that nothing else has been missed.

My wife had similar issue with a red flag from her bloods. We had a few stressful weeks but sense prevailed eventually once we were able to use Dr's report to be able to explain the situation to someone who was able to comprehend it better. I hope you get to the same position sooner rather than later

Re: Medical referral
Well hopefully this new report is enough for them this time.
I've got a feeling it's not.
But they have now been told several people have checked over my X-ray and it's benign and most likely related to an old injury. I'm hoping I don't have to wait another five weeks to hear back from them. Just for peace of mind.

This is what got us through. The NZ consultants report agreed with all the UK specialist reports so Immigration had no alternative but to ignore/discount their MA's advice.

Re: Medical referral
Well hubby is now in New Zealand!
New reports sent off on the 1st of August.
Now just a waiting game. Everyone has said it all is fine and not a cause for concern. Just hoping that after all this faff that they accept my actual medical condition. They haven't asked for any further reports on my medical condition, is this a good thing? Or can they still turn round and say it's not good enough? All my reports say I'm fine medical conditions and this new thing found.
I hope I don't have to wait another 5 weeks.
