Re: Medical referral
Now patiently waiting for my report to be sent to the MA. Hopefully this will be done on Monday. I am hoping we will have a final answer by the 14th of July. Otherwise my husband will be leaving without me at the end of July!

Re: Medical referral
I'm still patiently waiting for a reply from the MA with regards to my report.
Have now been waiting 5 weeks since lodgement.
So close but yet so far in hearing an answer.
I have this fear that it's not going to be good enough and I will be declined (I don't really have much good luck with life)
Still expecting the worst hoping for the best.
Why do we torture ourselves in the process lol.
The hubby will be leaving 2nd of august if he leaves on his lonesome.
If my visa is granted before then, then we will leave the 31st of July.
With us not knowing 100% what will be. It's a difficult time scale To rent our home out, pack up things. Officially say good bye to loved ones, which is the hardest part as we've not been able to give family and friends a definite answer. They can't do the "grieving" properly until they know I guess.
Any ways will keep you guys posted on the out come 🙃

Re: Medical referral
Well we didn't hear any good news today.
We received a reply from INZ saying they are still waiting for my medical report and have a deadline for the 6th of July we applied for an extension just in case as original deadline was the 28th of June.
I'm gutted as we sent the report on the 26th of June and they are claiming they haven't received it.
Our immigration adviser I don't think was too happy we contacted them ourselves but if we hadn't of then we wouldn't have known.
Now I gues we wait even longer I could cry right now we thought they have had this information for over a week already!
I don't understand why they haven't received it.

Re: Medical referral
did you send the medical report direct or through the agent??
The time line will be longer with the middle man (agent) as nothing will come to you direct. I personally would email your CO and ask if you could be blind copied in on all correspondence, and see how long it takes your agent to get any info and what it is to you.

Re: Medical referral
Just another little update- we was told that from sending the report we would wait 3 weeks to hear back from the MA - at one point it was said that they have not received the new report so we sent another one to be on the safe side but was assured that they must have received the initial one. We have now been waiting just over 3 weeks from sending my first report. Yesterday we got an update saying that we will now not hear back from the MA for another 1-2 weeks- which goes along with hearing back after 3 weeks and them Only receiving the report sent the second time.
My husband leaves in 2 weeks!
I was hoping that sending the report would be just as quick as my medical being looked at which was only 10 days. the second point of contact is taking much longer than anticipated and we are looking at 5 weeks. We understand there must be a backlog with the MAs gaining reports hence such a wait.
I'm gutted my husband is leaving and we don't know if I will even be approved for a visa yet. This is ever so stressful!

Re: Medical referral
Also a little personal medical referral time line update- but won't be the same for everyone!
Applying for partner based temp visa (hubs on wtr)
it's has now been 7 weeks from lodgement
6 1/2 weeks from being referred
5 weeks since the request of further medical reports

We are still going through the agent, since we went direct she has been asking for more updates with regards to my visa and forwarding on msgs. Do you think we should still go direct to our co?

I personally would, but then thats me (stroppy mare)
you could email and CC the agent or if you call the CO follow with an email outlining what was said and copy agent into that.

Re: Medical referral
Update-
Immigration are still saying there is something on my ribs/chest
In my medical report they didn't see anything and said everything was completely normal. I've seen a specialist and they said everything was normal they even showed me my x-ray and the report attached to my x-ray which showed nothing, and immigration are still saying there is something wrong. Now they want a report from my gp about the ribs.
I've been told if they also say everything is normal then it's unlikely my visa will be granted. I have no idea what to do as if everyone else is not seeing what they are seeing what can I do. I'm just not going to be granted a visa. My husband leaves in a few days.

Re: Medical referral
I've spoken to my gp and he thinks it's stupid that they are ignoring a Rheumatologist report and asking for a gp report now. When gps don't look at this kind of thing. The gp has booked me in for an emergency X-ray today. The gp and the rheumatologist have also said even if there was this thing on my ribs it's nothing to worry about at all as anyone can get it, it just happens and isn't a concern and doesn't cause any harm or need any treatment. I'm so frustrated now lol.
