DFA in job spec for IT Network and Security
Hi all,
My hubby is interested in a post which specifies in the Financial section of the job / person spec that the applicant will have a DFA of $50K.
What is DFA?? He hopes this isn't the budget for the network and physical security he would be responsible for as this is very low!!!
Any ideas??
Thanks,
Marion

Thanks MrsFychan.
He didn't want to apply if that was all they intended spending!! Meant they don't take it as seriously as he would like! :-)
That makes sense then....
Cheers,
Marion

DFA = Delegated Financial Authority
As Mrs F says he can approve expenses within his area of responsibility upto $50k and above that would go up the line for sign off from the person above him (not necessarily the CEO).

As said above on the $50k
Salary is a piece of string and relevant to organisation
Network security is different to a number of organisations on how serious they both take and understand the threat.
$100k to $200k+
