Sorry to say that they had their housewarming a few weeks ago and being non-BE folks an invite never cropped up on here.
T, Gandy & Licky are planning a piss-up on the 19th July though, so will stick something up for that once the missus has told me what's what.

The 19th is still on with a meet-up at ours for 7.30 for pre-lims, then a yomp into town for seconds - however, due to a recently realised double booking, T and I will need to be elsewhere for around 10pm. (that's the double booking bit).
This may well suit most, but if not we are happy to make it another weekend.
What do you ChCh lot think? Still mad fer it?

After several years of pushing OH, I finally made it to Chch! -- in time for the snow-storm. Been here a couple of weeks, got a shared/house type rental in Papanui whilst I look for long-term rental for the family. Bought the car already - a Toyota 10yr old babymobile. Family is joining me in 3 weeks!, the pressure is on... I have kid's 5-6-12yrs old, need to help find them friends. Would love to meet established old hands - next time anybody having drinks, where strangers are welcome, please let me know... Tony

We have a 4 year old girl, and boys of 6 and 8 years. Let us know when your wife gets here and pop on over for lunch. We are in Cashmere. We lived here for 4 years before and then returned to the uk for 5. We've been back since November.

Hi Al - accepted with thanks!.. my kid's are William 5, Mariana 6 & Catarina 12... we've been 18yrs in China, couldn't be more different to here (I lovit here)... They are nice and warm in the Azores now (my wife Monica, is Portuguese) and get here, around the 26/8. Kid's have never seen snow, plenty to look forward to.
