Not saying they're using up all their holiday, some may have accrued 10 weeks or more & they carry over to the next year!! My OH is on 9 weeks + I'm only talking about nursing.
Some of them have kids, but if you're usually both working what's the difference anyway.

Whoops, I thought it must be:
and you were having a dig at the accent or summat.
I'd have to disagree with you there, but I don't live up my bumhole so things might be different round your way.
Ah, well not if your intention is to feel like you're outsmarting folk, it's not.

No comments on John Key's 10 NZ comments on American Television - do you guys agree?

Have you tried a site called Expat Exposed, msi geek? I honestly think it's going to offer you more of what you're after.

You know what? I actually know where you're at- I've been there, done that, got the t-shirt and I do feel for you because it's so consuming and depressing. You must either move on or take some responsibility for how you feel about NZ and do something positive to address it. There's good and crap about all places to live and that's the truth.
Or you can become obsessively critical about every little thing to the point that you can only see a wholly bleak NZ and will start to think everyone who likes living here is somehow deluded. Life's too short for that, imo.
