Default Alexa...And Amazon...first world problems lol

Hi all

Has anyone brought their Amazon Echo with them and is it working?

I know there's talk of Amazon coming to Australia eventually but I wondered if the UK Echo would work here or not. I'm sure there would be some loss of functionality due to local services etc but would the basic still function?

I don't have an answer unfortunately, but would be interested to know more as we plan to return next year

I suspect that most of the services configured in would be geo-blocked in NZ.

All the music is likely to be UK licensed, and any shopping would be with amazon.co.uk.

"Alexa, why is nothing working?" might or might not get you a helpful answer.

Others are trying.
