Re: Will pay for Sky satellite help!
Hi Hussainw,
I dont live that far from veldhoven. About 30 mins up the a50 in a place called uden. I have got sky and freesat set up here. Got myself a dish off marktplaats and set it up myself. Its not that difficult. If you need any help just give me a shout.

We're not allowed to put a dish up at our place. Is there any other (legal!) way of getting Sky TV without one?

Do you live in a rented house then? Ours is rented, but they are not bothered about what is erected on to the house..... my satellite dish is on a pole in the garden, do you reckon you could compromise with that?

There are TV over internet options. I haven't tried it, but I hear it works quite well.
If you have a sky subscription, you can connect your internet to your sky box, and with a VPN to pretend you're in the UK, you can use their "catch up" service to watch everything with a slight delay.
Or try www.filmon.com

Hi,
I moved to amsterdam one week ago in ouid zuid. I found a guy (From Liverpool so gave me great advice on where to buy English food!) that sold me a new dish, cables and installed - all was working on the day I moved into the apartment. I can give you the details if needed, although service was pricey at €240. Apparently a landlord cannot legally refuse as long as any holes from cabling etc are repaired when you move out. Nicky
