Moving to Amsterdam need advice
Moving to Amsterdam in January just wondering do I need a dutch bank account to get paid into or can I be paid into my British account? Also I presume il need some sort of tax number to start working? Absolutely clueless any help would be appreciated cheers!

Reading the wiki would be a good place to start Welcome.
Yes, you need a tax number - this will be generated as soon as you register at the town hall as a resident, as you must do by law within 5 working days of your rental contract starting.
I won't say that they won't pay a salary into a British bank account, I have just never known them to do so in all my time here. So it's wise to sort one out, and yes, you will need your tax number (called BSN) in order to do so.
