Hi all - firstly - I'm American so I hope it's still acceptable to post on the brit site
I moved to Amsterdam last summer and have decided that now would be a good time to start making some friends (thought it would come naturally, but seems as if it takes some work in this city
)
I'm 25, work for a Consulting company in the city, live in the center. Would anyone be interested in drinks, coffee, lunch etc sometime?

Learn some Dutch as your work mates will love it.
There is a British shop just round the corner from De Costa Daagh (that were i lived), its run by a welsh couple, a lot of ex-pats shop there.

For any sporty females (or guys who want to perhaps be a ref or official) you may want to check out the Amsterdam Derby Dames - Amsterdam's roller derby team
We have a friends and family open day on 7th May for anyone interested in meeting us. I have already made tons of friends and I have only been with these girls and guys a week! And all of our coaching etc is in English so no worries if you don't speak Dutch

HI marko, great happy to hear it!!!! I am comming to Amsterdam on the 3rd of June and I am more than happy to meet for a drink one of the weekends :P... I dont know Amsterdam very well, have been there couple of times but didnt have much time to explore pubs or clubs.... anyway we will sort it out when we get there. Take care...
