Hello,

I moved to Ede (which is close to Utrecht) about 3 months ago and haven't met many non Dutch people yet, all my friends from Holland live in, Breda, Tiel and Amsterdam so I only get to see them at weekends, I was wondering if anyone would like to hang out, Grab a few beers or something?

I'm 25 and male.

I am in the same boat mate, but living in the Hague. Loads of expats here as well but finding it difficult to meet people. Weekends are cool, as spend the time back in London!!! The week drags in.

Quality of life is second to none though!

yeah, the quality of life is MUCH better, I find I can ACTUALLY afford to buy things instead of all my money going on ridiculous rent and council tax!:curse:

Strangely enough I was in den hague on saturday shooting a hip hop video in some old mill on saturnsstraat....was very cool but I didn't get much chance to check out the city itself as I was so busy with the shoot.

glad your enjoying life in Holland, shame you live 2 hours away....2 far for a few beers I think hahah.

January is a bad month for bills.

Once you get January out of the way, things will definitely improve.

Cant help with a meet, 16,000km is a tad too far.

I suggest finding a local bar where you enjoy the atmosphere, and they will make you feel at home soon enough, and you will get to meet plenty of locals soon enough. Thats the way I did it, and i'm still married to the girl that worked in the kitchen, and that was 16 years ago
